We would like to inform you about recent changes to the preparation and submission of the Application-Calculation and the Notification of Insurance Benefit Payments, which are used to finance sick leave and maternity benefits. The new Resolution No. 28-1 of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU), dated August 19, 2025, came into force on November 7, 2025. As of November 7, 2025, the following resolutions have been repealed: Resolution of the Board of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine No. 12 (2018) and Resolution of the Pension Fund of Ukraine No. 28-3 (2022).
Minor Update 2025.10/3 – partial update is aimed at resolving issues identified after the release of version 2025.10. It also includes tasks related to legislative changes, as well as improvements to the overall performance and stability of the system.

- New forms: Application-Calculation (Annex 1) and Notification (Annex 2)
- Sick leave and maternity benefits are now in separate annexes; a new field “Insurance Certificate Number” has been added.
- New application statuses: “Left Without Movement,” “Accepted,” “Rejected,” “Paid.”
- Submission via the PFU portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES) or the Diia app; verification through state registries.
- Deadlines: submission within 5 business days, funding within 3 business days, notification within 30 calendar days.
All changes have been integrated into SMART Payroll. To use them, you need to update the add-on version, import the new report templates, and download the update package for the directories (files and update instructions are available in SMART News). The system will automatically generate documents according to the new forms, consider statuses and deadlines, and correctly calculate sick leave and maternity benefits (consultations on these can be obtained from the support team).
