April 2025 updates for SMART Accounting and SMART Payroll

Solution updates for Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Cyprus, and Poland are released every 3 months. If changes in the legislation are urgent, SMART business releases urgent unscheduled updates.
All updates can be installed independently or with the help of SMART business.

1. The printed form of TTN and electronic TTN has been updated in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine dated November 14, 2024, No. 1332, effective from January 3, 2025.
2. In the “Check created VAT invoices by lines” page, the “Alignment of Item Customs Category Codes”, “Alignment of Service Codes DKPP”, and “Alignment of Imported Item Attributes” columns have been added, which will display notifications about inconsistencies between the Customs Category Codes, Service Codes DKPP, and Imported Item Attributes in the VAT documents. Also on this page, the FactBox has been added, which displays information about Customs Category Codes, Service Codes DKPP, and Imported Item Attributes from primary and VAT documents.
3. The ability to set the Customs Category code and the Imported item attribute at the item serial number has been added. If the item is tracked by both lot and serial number simultaneously, the Customs Category code and the imported goods attribute will be determined by the serial number.

To automatically update the Customs Category code before release or posting of the document in sales document lines, enable the “Use UKTZED Code from Traceability” toggle on the Tax Setup page. To update the imported goods mark, enable the “Use Imported Goods Attribute from Traceability” toggle on the “Tax Settings” page.

4. The functionality for approval of incoming cash orders and outgoing cash orders has been developed. The ability to configure approval workflows for batches and journal lines has been added.
5. The process of generating the “VAT Cust. Reconciliation” and “VAT Vend. Reconciliation” reports has been optimized, which allowed for a reduction in their generation time.
6. The ability to allocate additional costs to fixed assets based on their original cost if their purchase and allocation are performed within a single purchase document has been added.
7. The creation of correspondence in the case of providing a 100% discount on a Sales order, followed by the return of items and the creation of a Credit Memo, has been improved.
8. The condition for forming VAT correspondence only in cases where the Source type in the General Ledger Entries was “Customer” has been removed.

The setting “Correspondence Entry with VAT” on the General Ledger account has been expanded, allowing the correspondence of the income account with VAT to be formed with the account for which any source type is specified.

9. The filling of the “NetTotal” and “GrossTotal” fields in the preview tables of Audit File Export Documents of the “Sales invoices” and “Purchase Invoices” has been changed: now the amounts are displayed only in the LCY. The filling of the “UnitPrice” field in the lines of the preview tables of the Audit File Export Document has also been changed: now the price is displayed in the LCY, excluding VAT and including all discounts.
10. Changes have been made to the functionality of displaying information (address, details, logo) in printed forms depending on the selected system settings in the Responsibility Center.

If the Responsibility Center is not selected in the document, the information (address, details, logo) about the company is pulled from the Company Information card. If the Responsibility Center is selected in the document, the company information is filled in according to the specified “Replace Data in Company Information” setting at the Responsibility Center.

1. The creation of Application 6 Information on the existence of grounds for accounting for seniority of certain categories of persons in accordance with the legislation has been added for the Person Tax Calculation Report based on the data specified in Service Terms on employees’ positions.
2. The ability to create Group Orders for employees’ military reservations has been implemented.
3. For “Payroll Sheet type Salary Payment”, the ability to export in Monobank format (xlsx) has been added.
4. In the “Travel Order”, the ability to specify previous versions of lines for the “Advance Statement” has been added, as well as the ability to automatically create an “Advance Statement” from the “Travel Order”.
5. In the “Def. Labor Contract Terms” for “Category Code”, the “Min Value” and “Max Value” fields have been added, which can be used to control the value in the “Amount” field for a specific payroll element.
6. The 70950752 SMA Salary View Permission table has been created, the use of which in the newly created excluded Permission Set allows you to hide the fields with salaries and amounts on certain pages for the corresponding HR Manager user, while still being able to work with other fields on the page. For example, on the “Position” page, a user can fill in all fields except the “Base Salary Amount” field, which is hidden if the user doesn’t have rights to the SMA Salary View Permission table.
7. For the “Prepare Transfer Lines” functionality in the Group Order, the ability to mass transfer employees to another job title has been added (previously, this ability was implemented only for Org. Units), and other improvements have been implemented for the convenience of using group orders to create transfers in labor contracts.
8. A new Average Headcount Matrix report has been created. The report can be generated for the selected period, by AT Codifier, by Org Units, by parameters: All, Employees with disabilities, Employees with additional guarantees, Women, External part-time workers, Civil contract.
9. The ability to view “Analytical reports (Ad-hoc Analysis)” on special “Analyze Payroll Ledger Entry”, “Analyze Payroll Document Lines”, “Analyze Posted Payroll Document Lines” pages and additional use of records from the “Employee” and “Timesheet Status” tables have been added.
