According to the order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated May 17, 2023, No. 256 (published on July 31, 2023), changes were made to the form of the VAT Invoice and the VAT Declaration.
The main changes relate to enterprises engaged in the export of goods with the UKT ZED (Ukrainian Classifier of Goods of External Economic Activity) codes to which the export security regime is applied (namely, agricultural products such as grain, oil, seeds, etc.). To update generation of VAT invoices, such organizations will need to create a separate posting setting in the database. All other companies need to change only the version of the VAT invoice to “15” on the “VAT Settings (Ukraine)” page since other paragraphs of the order relate to changes in the wording of certain clauses, notes and do not affect the functionality of the system in any way.
