Update of the SAF-T UA 2.0 file from the State Tax Service: SMART business is preparing to adapt the solution to new requirements

On November 6, 2024, an updated version of SAF-T UA 2.0 was published on the State Tax Service website. The changes are aimed at improving the exchange of information between taxpayers and government agencies in the context of submitting SAF-T UA reports. SMART business has already carefully studied the innovations and highlighted the main updates:

  1. Version 2.0 adds new fields to most sections of the report and clarifies and changes the logic for displaying information in existing fields.
  2. The required nature of some fields has been reviewed and the conditions under which it is necessary to display information or under which it can be displayed optionally have been clarified.
  3. Numerous clarifications have been made regarding field validation, and mechanisms for checking the balance of amounts between different sections have been added.
  4. The XML structure has been updated: it has been simplified by reducing the number of required fields and establishing clearer requirements for data types, which is consistent with Ukrainian accounting standards.
