For large holdings, especially international groups of companies, centralized management of master data and accounting policies can be a serious challenge. SMART Master Data Management is a new product designed to solve exactly this task. It extends the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and greatly simplifies the system deployment in enterprises with a branched structure.

How does it work?

The SMART MDM functionality allows you to create directories of master data – such as vendors, customers, product items, etc. – in a centralized way with their subsequent controlled distribution throughout all organizations of the group. To do this, you need to set up a data set in the main company and replicate it to the receiver companies. In this case, you can create a multi-level data distribution tree, allowing, for example, to configure both global data and individual data templates for each country.

SMART MDM makes it possible to:

  • Build centralized master data management.
  • Set up centralized management of accounting policies and directories of analytics.
  • Provide centralized management of report templates.
  • Maintain consistent coding for customers, vendors, product items and groups throughout the corporation.
  • Simplify the process of creating consolidated management reporting.
  • Exchange data freely between online environments of different organizations within the group.
