SMART business initially set up the Academy as an idea to provide knowledge and skills to people who had been working with Russian software, enabling them to adapt to and work in the new system. Over time, this idea grew into a large-scale educational project, now conducted across various countries. The academies played a key role in helping SMART business’s potential customers familiarize themselves with the system, aiding them in deciding whether to implement it. In some cases, the academies even partially replaced training of customer users. Additionally, SMART business has employed some of the Academy’s members, further strengthening the relationship between the Academy and the company.
For over 15 years, SMART business has been empowering companies by developing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft ERP systems that elevate businesses to a competitive international standards. As a valuable project of the company, the Online Academy embodies this expertise, offering a comprehensive knowledge base in Accounting, HR, and Payroll processes within a global ERP system.

The recent successful completion of our SMART Academy in Georgia titled “Finances and Accounting in the ERP System from Microsoft,” which started on June 18, marks a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to provide an outstanding ERP system training. This event welcomed up to 200 participants who gained essential practical knowledge for operating Microsoft’’s international ERP system. This pioneering event laid the foundation for future academies in the region, with two more planned by the end of the year. In September, we will dive into Payroll, and in November, we will explore Logistics.
The SMART Academy initiative is not new; in fact, it has become somewhat of a tradition, with approximately 30 successful academies already conducted in Ukraine. Over time, this educational platform has expanded to other countries where SMART business operates, establishing itself as a regular and integral part of our global outreach. This expansion speaks to the growing demand for quality ERP training and the commitment of SMART business to bring localized solutions to diverse regions.
In 2022, SMART business opened a new office in Warsaw, Poland, marking another important chapter in the company`’s growth. By March 2024, the new SMART Localization for Poland solution, aligned with the country’s tax legislation, was ready. The comprehensive ERP system developed by SMART business is tailored to meet the specific regulatory and business needs of each country. The successful launch of the Poland-specific ERP system culminated in another SMART Academy held in July, extending training programs to even more professionals across Europe. This localization represents a critical step in SMART business`s broader strategy of expanding into the European Union and adhering to the rigorous regulations that come with it.
In May 2024, yet another SMART Academy was introduced in Azerbaijan. This launch came as SMART business Azerbaijan joined the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). AmCham became one of the major supporters of this project and helped to promote the SMART Academy via their network. As a result, many of the registered participants expressed interest in the product.
